Linksys WRT54GS

I've had this router for about 6 years.  Never had any problems with it.  I run 6 devices on my routers so they need to actually be good at routing data for me.  I don't use this much anymore since I got my DSL modem with integrated router.  I will say that this router is more versatile than the integrated router in my DSL modem.  I like the user interface on the lan web browser.  Not a bad unit.  Adding a DNS server would make this a better unit.  Maybe a gigabit network capable lan and it would be better.  But for the money this is a great unit.  This is another unit you can find cheap if you shop around. Surfboard SB4200 Cable Modem

I've had this cable modem for 14 years and I can say that it has never given me any problems.  I live in a rural town that only supports the old docsis 1 & 1.1. Our service with DSL is faster here so I decided to go with DSL.  One of the disadvantages to this modem is that you have to have a external router hooked up to it to have multiple computer hooked up.  That's not really that big a deal in fact it might be a advantage to some considering you can choose a high end router instead of using a integrated one that you find in most newer cable modems.  A advantage to owning this modem is you don't have to pay the cable company rent on a modem that is capable of docsis 1 & 1.1 because you own it. You can hook up 2 pc to this modem without a router.  1 connects to the ethernet jack and the other goes to the usb port. A disadvantage is that there is no hard  reset switch on the unit. ION PowerPlay USB Turntable

A lot of people might find that converting LPs to MP3s to be a waste of time and money.  It really all depends.  If you have a old record that is rare and cannot be bought, this would be a wonderful way of converting the songs to MP3.  The sound quality is not as good as a standalone Turntable hooked up to a stereo, but for the money it is a great buy.  I think you'll find this to be a easy way of converting those LPs to MP3s.  It uses EZ Vinyl/Tape converter that basically guides you through the entire process.  The software uses iTunes to finalize your turntable tracks to MP3.  The only thing that I would like to see with the EZ Vinyl/Tape converter would be a built in wav editor to remove pops and hiss from the tracks.  Other than that, it is a great turntable. Actiontec DSL Modem GT784WN

This modem runs really good and has a fast internet connection.  Had problems with it when it went out to update it's firmware in the middle of the night.  Had to call me DSL provider and have them reset the password.  After my password was reset it didn't give me any more problems.  It works well for a lan too.  I have 4 computers, wii, and 2 Iphones hooked up to it with no problem.  Two of my computers are hooked up to the wired ports and the wireless to wired file transfers work great.  There are a lot of features on this modem. Gold's Gym 390 R Indoor Bicycle

     The Gold's Gym 390R is a wonderful starter indoor bicycle for the person that is on a budget.  I bought mine at Wal-Mart about 2 years ago and it still works great for me.  I try to ride at least 30 mins a day.  But just like all exercise equipment, you won't get anything out of it if you don't put in the effort and actually use it.  Out of the box it has almost everything you need.  You will have to use batteries unless you go and get a power supply.  It is very easy to use and has several levels of adjustment to help you advance with your fitness levels.
