A lot of people might find that converting LPs to MP3s to be a waste of time and money. It really all depends. If you have a old record that is rare and cannot be bought, this would be a wonderful way of converting the songs to MP3. The sound quality is not as good as a standalone Turntable hooked up to a stereo, but for the money it is a great buy. I think you'll find this to be a easy way of converting those LPs to MP3s. It uses EZ Vinyl/Tape converter that basically guides you through the entire process. The software uses iTunes to finalize your turntable tracks to MP3. The only thing that I would like to see with the EZ Vinyl/Tape converter would be a built in wav editor to remove pops and hiss from the tracks. Other than that, it is a great turntable.
